All items in the shop are made to order, by hand. Once an order is placed, items ship within 1 week. Each order will be made and shipped as soon as possible and often times it may be sooner than the estimated ship date. If you need your item sooner than the expected delivery time that is listed above, please contact Megan BEFORE placing an order and Stitch & Shutter will work with you for a possible rushed delivery. Items ship via Priority Domestic USPS 1-3 Day for a flat rate charge of $5.99. Various shipping upgrades are available at checkout. S&S currently does not ship outside of the U.S., however, you can visit StitchShutter at etsy.com for international orders. Stitch & Shutter is not responsible for mail that is lost by USPS or stolen after delivery is confirmed. Tracking information is made available for all shipped items. Once the package enters the USPS tracking system and is confirmed as picked up from the shipper, the shop/shipper is no longer responsible for the package. All packages are insured for their full value. Signature is NOT required on packages shipped from Stitch & Shutter unless you purchase this upgrade at checkout. If you do not feel that it is secure to leave a package at your door unsigned, you may purchase a "Signature Required" upgrade from the shop for an additional $2.35. This upgrade option will show at checkout.
A copy of your receipt is included in each package, please notify Megan if you require a gift receipt instead.
REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
All stock items may be returned within 10 days of receipt, at the buyers expense, for a refund of the full product cost (excluding the amount charged for shipping). Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. The buyer is responsible for the cost of the shipping to return and/or exchange any item(s). Returned items must be unused and not damaged in any way. If damaged, the Stitch & Shutter reserves the right to refuse the return or exchange. Custom orders and personalized or monogrammed items may not be returned or exchanged. Please contact Megan with any further questions. *Note: please contact Megan before sending an item back and indicate the reason for the return or exchange.*
Custom items are available. If you don't find what you are looking for or have a new design in mind, feel free to email Megan on the contact page and Stitch & Shutter will work with you to design something unique that meets your needs! Pricing for custom orders will vary based on the product requested. For example, minimal fees may be incurred if the requested item is simply a slight alteration to a stock style (such as adding a pocket to an existing wallet design). Completely new items that involve a new design and mock-up will often be a higher cost. A flat design fee of $30 is added to the product cost of any completely new, custom item. Payment for all custom orders must be received before production begins.
