November's "Five Things"
This month we're focusing on being SUPER productive in order to finish out 2017 strong. But don't worry, there are some awesome jams and a binge-worthy show for your down-time...we got you.
creative assets- I've got all these stock photos that I shoot for social media and never use again so I started selling them on Creative Market a few months ago. It's an awesome resource for stock photos, fonts, graphics and all sorts of creative things. Plus, they send you five free digital goods every week!
it's killer- Are you into Criminal Minds (who isn't)? If so, you'll likely love Mind Hunter on Netflix. The show covers the beginning of criminal psychology & profiling at the FBI in the 70's and it's hella well done. Plus I met Jon Groff back in high school after seeing Spring Awakening and he seems like such a darling, this is a really unexpected role for him and I'm loving it.
cold picnic- These Boob and Torso bath mats from Cold Picnichave been all over my social media feeds and when I was in LA checking out Otherwild I happened to pick one up. Cotton, non-slip, and perfect for the bathroom or really any room. What can I say? It's the tits.
being productive- Carey Bentley, co-founder of Life Hack Boot Camp, chats about how to be productive on Ep. 44 of the Don't Keep Your Day Job Podcast and there are some major truth bombs on this episode that can benefit anyone & everyone in their work and life. I always say it comes down to: priorities, time tracking, and discipline. Guys, we all have 24-hours in a day. It's all about how you USE them. (can I get an amen?!)
jam out- I haven't stopped listening to Michael Kiwanuka since Big Little Lies got Cold Little Heartstuck in my head. It's SUCH a jam. Seriously, this man has some amazing music and it all has a totally soulful and inspiring sound. Give a listen!
